Let’s Get Physical!

Yesterday when I was checking my Health App and Fitness App, I realized we are not active enough! The previous month we averaged a decent 8.1km per day, with all the sightseeing with Sári’s family, my brother, and Sári’s friend; but since they left, we haven’t got anywhere to go basically. Sári goes to the university almost every day, so she probably has to walk more than I would – if I didn’t go on some walks on my own. Sooo, yeah, I realized we are not walking enough, so I decided from now on we must walk at least 5 km a day!

To complete my goal, we went to the Saxon Garden and started walking around. After two rounds I decided we should spice it up, so we started doing 8 shapes in the parks… it was exciting trust me. It was kinda funny that we met some oldies in every round, they were probably doing the same as we; I’m not sure if they act like young ‘adults’ like us, or we are like old people doing old people things. Let’s say they act much younger than they should, okay?!

The Polish Independence Day is coming up, and I think this is the reason why a huge amount of police, soldiers, and other uniformists were doing a sorta choreography in the Westernmost point of the garden – sidenote I could be wrong they might have been there for some completely different reason, if you have any information on it please don’t hesitate and tell us in the comments bellow. We watched them for a couple of minutes, but frankly it was super cold, Sára was cold, I was cold, so we decided to move on. I did take some pictures here look:

Oh, and as you can see the day was pretty foggy-smoggy-notseealotty, but also very interesting or mystic I should say!

When we got home my online class was about to start. I’m still not too happy about my classes being in the evening, but by now I’m getting used to it. The teacher was quite nice, in the end she finished 15 minutes earlier, and told us she was a bit worried in the beginning since it was her first online class, and she has never used Zoom. Her word took me back to my first online class as a teacher – wow it’s still so hard to believe, isn’t it? Me as a teacher??? Come ooon – and I also finished 15 minutes earlier, however my class was supposed to be 40 minutes long not 1 hour 30 minutes; you can imagine how fast I was speaking, and how amazing the notes in the students exercise books could be. I imagine they wrote down the tittle of the class and… and maybe the date. haha. Good old times. (Before any of you would make the conclusion about me still being a terrible teacher, I should tell you that by time I got better and better and now I’m a pretty acceptable teacher. Not the best teacher ever, but I might even get there some day!)

So, yeah yesterday was pretty much walking, and being nostalgic.

That's it for today,

See you tomorrow!
