Restday + the missing informations
Yesterday was a pretty
boring day we hardly did anything. I mean we did relax a lot which I frankly
think was needed. Sara did her papers; I had my online class. My class was pretty
much about how covid restrictions affect different countries economy, and we had
to tell what’s the new covid-rules in our countries. I wouldn’t say it was
pointless, but I do feel like I already knew these facts… I hope I won’t have
another feeling at the final exam though!
Although it was
raining the whole day, we decided enough is enough and we couldn’t sit in the
room for another minute, so after class we walked to the nearest bigger shop to
by some food for dinner. It was a nice little walk, and I was wondering, how
much the rain could change the air quality. You see, this is a quite big city,
but somewhere around late September the leaves’ begun to changing and stopped producing
oxygen. That means most of the city’s lunges died, and our fresh oxygen is imported
to the city by the wind from pinewoods around Warsaw. So, on a normal dry day, the
only “air freshener” is the wind. But on a rainy day the rain; the water can
also observe come CO2 as does the huge water bodies around the
continents called oceans. I still need to do some research, but my hypothesis is
something like the city’s air has less CO2 on a rainy day than on an
average dry day.
I told you
yesterday about the difference between the Chopin and the Modlin Airport, but I
didn’t know the exact prices. So, if you go to Chopin Airport you can just by a
simple public transport ticket and get on the S2 train – the ticket cost 3.40 zloty
– but if you wanna go to the Modlin Airport you have to by a different ticket –
costs 19 zloty. This price difference is something that you might have to take
in count when you are planning your trip/Erasmus to Warsaw.
Oh, and I almost
forgot it! I did cook of fry some chickpeas for lunch which actually almost
tasted like meat! If you wanna cut down on your meat intake for environmental or
whatever reason fried chickpeas are a great option!
God I'm a good cook!
That's it for today, I hope you are well, and I'll see you tomorrow,
Take care
Almos
