An Unpleasant Shopping Trip
Yesterday could’ve been just like any other Thursday… But it wasn’t.
We’ve slowly started preparing for Christmas, by buying as many Christmas dinner supplies as possibly could fit in our fridge and freezer. The point of the whole mission would’ve been to avoid huge traffic in shops, however they were already packed with people! The whole mall was full of people and unfortunately I can’t say that it would’ve been any different in the grocery store.
Slowly we packed our cart, while trying to avoid as many people as possible; until the whole cart was full of the things we needed. The grocery store has two floors usually the upper level has less people than the other, mostly because the upper level has a smaller parking lot and maybe people are also trying to avoid getting to the upper floor to minimize the useless crap they would buy.
Anyway, we got to the point where we only had to pay and leave, however there was a middle aged man in front of us in the line. The cashier started beeping his things while we packed everything on the table/counter(?). We left a small gap between his and our stuff to avoid touching the thingy that is supposed to separate two costumers’ stuff. However suddenly a lady arrived, said something like sorry, and then started packing on the counter in front of our stuff. As it turned out she was with her maniacal husband who was a impatient bastard who couldn’t wait for his woman to get her shit together. We didn’t really understand the situation how dared that halfwit lady cut us off, but we were like ‘ookay you do you…’ however the story didn’t end here. She started packing her stuff on ours and the cashier didn’t notice it. Neither the impatient sods. The cashier beeped already 2-3 items till our friends realized they didn’t buy 4 liters of milk. The cashier had to delete them from the system and got super angry with us! Wtf?! We weren’t the jackasses in this situation we could’ve get away with avoiding to use the Covid-stick — that’s what it really is! I wonder how often are those things washed — however that moron cut as off and screwed us… At this point I would’ve tell them off if I was sure they spoke the same language as I do.
This story really pissed me off, I wanted to write about different thing for today’s blog, but I can’t get over this story…
Oh, and to make the shopping experience even worse there was a huge traffic jam on the way out of the store’s parking lot! Because some lunatic in the council of Warsaw decided to rebuild a stretch of road in front of the store and to make things even worse they’ve also turned off the traffic lights! So a 4 lane highway turned into a one lane road with no lights, but an extremely busy intersection. It took us 15 minutes to do 300 meter and another 5 minutes to join the main street… Congratulations to all the heroes of today’s blog! Without them I probably would have wrote about soup or something…
I’ll finish it here today because I’m getting pissed of again…
Thanks for ready and please don’t be a retarded.
