Geography Is Good!

Yesterday was my dad’s birthday! So, I’m starting today’s blog with a happy birthday to him! Happy Birthday dad!

Apart from this I’ve officially ended No Shave November and got rid of all the facial hair I managed to grow in this 4ish weeks. I’m not saying I’m disappointed but some 13 year old kids can grow more glorious beard than I could. But it’s what it is and I’ve already written to much about it, all I wanted to point out is No Shave November has a meaning, and Sari was delighted when I got rid of my chin hair.

After shave — haha — we did our usual daily routine, I had my class on Natural Environment of Poland, Sari had her own class, we cooked lunch and so on. But I’d like to turn get back to my class on Poland’s nature if I may, because I think it’s a great class in general, and it’s really important to learn about the country you live in. If you had Geography classes wherever you lived as a child, why wouldn’t you have at least one Geography class of the place you live now? Just as it is important to know the general Geography of a county for instance where the mountains are and where the flatlands are you can also use these classes to plan your next trip. Yes, it makes exploring a country much-much easier if you have a professor who tells you where the interesting stuffs are, and in the end of the semester you even get credits for it! What is this if not a win-win-win-win-win case?

So, one of the — or perhaps the only — take aways of todays blog is; even if you hate Geography, apply for a Geography course on the country you are going on an Erasmus, so you will be told where to travel in the country for credits! Very important!

After my class we did our compulsory daily walk, we walked to Zlote Tarasy to do our grocery shopping, and checked all the shoe selling places, because we are looking for some warm boots for Sari. Spoiler alert we haven’t found any that she liked and we will not find any she would like, not now not in a million years. Girls… Can’t live with them, can’t live without them, eh? Just kidding love you babe!

When we got back home we did a video call to celebrate my dad with my family. It was weird — yes, even after two years in the online education it was weird — but also great to see everyone.

I believe that’s all worth mentioning, I hope y’all doing great, and remember; Geography classes are good, they give you free travel advices!

Take care,

Almos
