Getting Vaccinated! … Again
Yesterday was our big day! Or actually our third big day. We got vaccinated again! For the third and hopefully the last time!
When we got up we were rather nervous about the upcoming torture. We got up, did our usual staff breakfast and shit. I mean shit like that, not literally. We prepared a nice little lunch and enjoyed the day.
Until 1300. Then we nervously started getting ready, gathering all the papers that would be needed for us to get vaccinated, then got on a bus to the university. At the university we went to CenterMed, where we had our appointment for 1400. The operators kindly told us where to go, and to wait till the doctor calls us. We didn’t have to wait to much he called us in, filled all the paperwork, so we were officially ready to get vaccinated.
First Sari got her dose then it was my turn. It did hurt a little, but it was no biggie. However, it got me thinking. My first vaccination was good till now kinda. This one will be good till June. And then what? Another round? Please no! I think it’s unfair, and makes me upset that me, the medical workers and a buncha other people have already taken three dose of a vaccine, a vaccine we think is safe, however is it really safe to take it every 6 months? And do we take these vaccinations completely unnecessarily? I mean if everyone has taken two shots of them, that we know is safe, would we still need third and possibly fourth rounds? You picking up what I’m putting down? We’ve had vaccinations thru our childhood, that basically resulted us surviving our childhood, and became adults. If you compare death rates of 1-3 years old today and 150 years ago you will see what I’m talking about. Vaccines are good and helped us getting here, I seriously don’t understand why people deliberately trying to avoid vaccinations. My personal favorite is when people say that they are not getting vaccinated because they don’t know what’s in it… and they say this at a McDonalds, eating a Chicken Burger.
I might’ve gotten a bit off topic here, sorry about that. After we got our vaccinations we went to Dominos for some pizzas. We fingered today we gonna feel like shit, won’t be able to cook so some pizza for today would be nice. We took them home on the bus which was kinda weird if you ask me. How does pizza deliveries on bus? I mean apart from us. Anyway we got our pizza home safe and sound, and when we opened the boxes our salivary glands exploded. Like in an 80’s action movie when the same shit explodes eight to ten times at least. It tasted great, however I’m afraid they’ve forgotten the dough. The whole pizza was thiner than anything. That’s the reason I haven’t even learnt the name of the pizza, it was good, but without the taste of the dough it will be never great. Especially because of the almost not existing dough we ate all the pizza yesterday, and nothing was left for today… Bummer.
We got home tried to concentrate on my class drunk a lot of water and went a sleep.
It was an interesting day, with mixed emotions, although I’m kinda relieved I’m probably safer now then I was, and if I get sick I’m a tiny bit less likely to pass the virus on someone…

That’s for today, be safe, get vaccinated if you can
