Having Some Hungarian Wine

Yesterday in the morning we slept. Haha yeah I thought I’ll be able to say something interesting but we didn’t really do anything in the morning. However after we finally got up we were starving! After a short discussion we decided yesterday was hamburger day. So, we went to Zlote Tarasy to Sari’s favorite(?) burger place called Max Burger. It’s really like a McDonalds but the french fries are made of real potato. We had sort of an opposite day, where she had a burger with beef in it while I had the chicken version of — I believe — the very same burger. It was nice. I was never too big of a fan of chicken burgers, and this burger haven’t really changed my mind on that, but it was okay.

After the burger we went to a few shops, one of them sells my favorite chair in the world; a rocking chair. Every time we go to that shop I just rush to that chair and rock till Sari gets bored of the shop. It’s a fantastic. I was really thinking about buying it when I sat in it for the first time, however now I have some concerns about the quality of that thing. Yesterday when I sat in it it felt a bit weird, like something wasn’t quite right with it. And I assumer it was used a bit less then it would be used in my house. I think I would literally move into that chair. Or maybe the better term would be onto that chair haha.

Unfortunately Sari got bored at the shop a bit faster than I expected, so I had to say goodbye to my chair sooner than optimally. And even more unfortunately the other shop didn’t even have a rocking chair! Noooo! Bummer.

I humbly thought that was it for yesterday, no more shop trips, however as it turned out I was wrong. Before I’ve realized I’ve been scammed I was sitting on a subway headed to Praha district where we wanted to visit a Pepco? God only knows what shop we were looking for the point is we were at a different district just for a shop. After we bought our blanket we were finally headed home! When we entered the area of the subway we heard a train approaching which miraculously was the right train for us! So we had to wait no time at all to get on the subway — which might be only a small victory, but you gotta celebrate every little victory you got!!! I genuinely don’t like public transportation I prefer riding a bicycle instead, but I have to admit  yesterday the public transport was amazing. We walked 1 or 2 minutes maximum to the subway station, then we spent 12ish minutes on the subway traveling through basically the whole city of Warsaw and then we had to walk 7ish minutes to our apartment. I think that’s pretty spectacular.

In the evening we had a nice lunch, which didn’t quite end our day, because we were invited to Ola for a glass of wine, and for some butchering. Okay, butchering is what I did there, what she meant was putting together her new self. It was great! I enjoy every moment of that night. We had some nice Hungarian wine, we played some cards, and it was really great to finally build something.

It was funny because she — a Polish girl — gave us Hungarian wine, so I think when she comes over we have to give her Polish beer. Like jin and jung however it’s written.

So that was our yesterday, I hope you enjoy reading it,

Take care and see you tomorrow,

Almos
