New Flavored Soplica
Yesterday we were chilling through all morning. Shit we hiked and city-toured almost 20 km! That’s not the longest walk ever taken, but it is still something.
We also did our little ‘stupid daily walk for for our stupid mental and physical health.’ We walked East to a part of the city we haven’t really been to before. I’m not saying we got to the most beautiful place on Earth because we hadn’t, but it was new experience, and that’s good.
It’s really interesting how this city was built and is currently building. Huge fancy glass towers, skyscrapers and between them there are either old apartment blocks from the 50’s and 60’s usually with plywood all over their windows and doors — I guess if we stayed we would see new skyscrapers replacing them in the near future. And the other type of buildings are the typicalcommunist built panel apartment complexes(?) or just simply blocks that were built in the 70’s and 80’s in every country where the commies ruled.
After our shortish walk we got home and started working on improving the well-known Polish vodka brand Soplica. They have many sort(?) and many flavored vodkas like cherry, hazelnut, or coffee — the coffee flavored is my favorite so far. Although they produce their products in many flavors we felt like something was missing. The flavor of Christmas was missing! The liquor kind was missing. (Maybe liquor is not technically vodka, but does it really matter?) We were thinking about doing some eggnog, but that didn’t sound special enough for our first Christmas in our own little ness — sometimes mess haha. We’ve chosen Nutella to be flavor of our liquor, and it was a great idea!
We’ve boiled up some Nutella, added some sort of white cream — ladies I believe you know what I’m talking about — boiled them together a bit until their mixture’s liquidity became similar to water I guess. Then we waited a bit till it got cooled off and added some vodka. And wuala we’ve improved the brand massively!
We tried our creation and it was good, however it still needs some time for the favors to reach their potential, we will try it again in a few days!
Till then take care,
Almos
