New Milestone! — Or Kilometer-stone

Yesterday we celebrated! Because yesterday’s blog was the 100th blog I’ve ever written! How amazing is that?!  We’ve been thru a lot of days and trips together and I’d like to thank you for all the positive comments/feedbacks that basically kept the blog alive and gave me huge motivation to sit down and share my days with y’all. Thank you!

How did we celebrate? Well I guess the traditional way to celebrate is to open a bottle of champagne or at least a bottle of wine and say cheers… However, we, we’ve chosen a different approach to the celebration. We cooked. Not that Breaking Bad kinda batches were made, but I bet the staff that we cooked is way better than the blue. We cooked little chocorolls — kakaós csiga; if you have better translation feel free to share it — and we cooked some sorta hot dog as well.

We’ve enjoyed the oven sooo much! We bought factory-made lasagne that we cooked in it, than we bought some also factory-made pizzas that we cooked for dinner. I never really understood the concept of these fake prepared dishes until yesterday. Although it would’ve been great to prepare our own dough, our own sauce, and our own toppings, we didn’t want to spend that much time in the kitchen, we just wanted to enjoy the oven. And later we baked the previously mentioned chocorolls and baked hot dog thingies.

In the meantime I was also enjoying the huge apartment! Our apartment in Warsaw is super tiny — I believe it’s under 25m*m, maybe somewhere around 20m*m, but I’ve never measured — however the place we rented in Lublin was at least twice the size of our place! The longest distance I could walk was from the front door to the terrace and it was 8-10 meter! I was literally doing jumping jacks from door to door when I was bored.

We also had a huge television with a comfy couch and with Netflix connection, we watched at least four movies on it. You might ask why on Earth did we travel 500km to sit in a room and cook and watch TV. Well I don’t know. We probably could’ve just rented some similar places in Warsaw, but we wanted to travel. Is this a good answer? I don’t know… But our whole stay in Lublin was so good I wouldn’t change anything about it! It was such an amazing feeling when Sari and I both entered a different room. By now you probably think I’m crazy, but you know what?! What if there’s nothing wrong with that? Do whatever makes you happy that’s my philosophy.

Before you would really think that we just sat home on our first day in Lublin, Imma tell you that we also went for a walk in the city. We explored some of the nightlife of Lublin. However for the city review you have to tune in for the next blog!

Till then; take care

Almos
