Moving

 Yesterday I went running. I’ll give you a minute here to process. I started my day running, I ran four rounds around our block, then I walked to the 9th floor and I was dead. It really took out a lot of energy, and my days of preparing for the athletic exams are over.

After I climbed up I had a little rest and then I headed back down for a supply run at the nearest store. I would’ve gone for the one that was a bit further away, but we needed bread for lunch and Sari was starving so I had no time to jerk around and walk the extra mile. I had time till she finished her essay, so I decided to walk a few laps around the neighbor block before I entered the shop. And I saw two interesting things, both at the construction site nearby. One was a truck towing a huge orange/yellow thingy to the construction site, the other was a generator trailer that was relocated with a crane. I mean it could’ve bene pushed, rolled, towed, or pulled, but no, the workers decided they have to lift it up 15 meters from the ground to get it to another place. I think this was one of the best examples of: just because you can it doesn’t mean you should. Unfortunately I couldn’t watched the whole show — although I was really curious what’s up with that orange/yellow thingy — because Sari was ready with here task and our lunch.

So, by the time I got home lunch was already waiting for me, so we ate quick and then headed out again. This time we were off to shopping. But since we still have no public transportation pass we walked. At least my milage grows like mushrooms.

After shopping I went on an evening walk as well. I walked the usual Rondo ONZ and Rondo Dasinksiego route. It was a really nice walk, the road was still wet from the rain, cars were dragging huge water ‘tails’ behind them. It looked like a foam party’s car version. I walked two laps around the two ‘rondos’ before I started walking home.

I thought I’ll break some sorta record of mine with yesterday’s walks, so I was really surprised when it turned out that I only walked 11.7 km! I haven’t even hit 15 km! Scandalous! Although I haven’t walked as much as I hoped for, however I did filled all my rings on my watch, which got me closer to my goal of closing all rings in seven days in a row, and the same challenge but counting only the days in January, and closing the Exercises rings thru one whole month.

Altogether it was an okay day, with ups and downs.

I hope you had a great day, and till tomorrow;

Take care,

Almos
