My Last Exam!

Yesterday I had my last exam! And I have passed! Not out, but the exam! How awesome is that?!

When I woke up I read thru the all the slides once more and crossed all my fingers. I also took the time to ask Sari and our neighbors to cross their fingers as well. And it worked! I’ve passed the exam! I had two attempts, first I got some 50% then at the second attempt I got 65%! Yess! I like that number.

After my exam we got ready and hopped on a tram to Praga! Not the Praga in the Czech Republic, but the one in Warsaw. Our plan was to check out the Praha Museum, and find a bar to have a gin and tonic to celebrate my successful exam period.  When we got off the tram we realized we have walked past the Praha Museum several times already! Last week(?) when we were at Praha we walked past it, and I’m pretty sure we walked past it before. We entered the building, this time the host was much nicer, she immediately told us there were no entrance fees that day, and told us the cloakroom is downstairs.

We went to the museum to find out why the place is called Praha, and we were hoping for some extra information on the district. We didn’t got any of that. Instead we saw a few pictures of the National Stadium, and some documentaries on a market/mall, which used to be the heart of Praha’s economy, but they’ve demolished the whole building later. It was a sad story… Although we spent around two to three hours in the museum, I found it pretty hard to remember anything to write about. I had high hopes for the museum, however if I have to be completely honest I didn’t like that place at all. Even when they had something interesting, it wasn’t enjoyable because of either the lights were blinding you or the position of the object was placed badly.

Then we failed to find a bar again, and it huge winds were blowing our heads off. We quickly walked in to the nearest mall, and bought some groceries. We shouldn’t forget that some of the groceries taxes are going to be reduced February 1st, so no big grocery shopping till then!

Afraid of the wind we took the subway to home, however when we got out of the subway we felt something like never before! We walked up the stairs to Dasinksiego, and we felt absolutely no air movement! No wind, no breeze, not even a shy fart. The air was completely still. It was really weird, we never ever experienced such thing at that roundabout.

I’ve also realized next week is the last full week we are going to spend in Warsaw!  And I guess that’s also gonna be the end of my blog… Wow. When I think about this an emotion storm rushes thru my mind… I really hope I’ve liked my stories and I’ve pushed you a little bit towards going on an Erasmus yourself. However if I hadn’t — till now — I’ll do my best in these last weeks! Next weeks besides the usual blogs — which also will take you some interesting places in Warsaw — I’ll tell you the story of us getting here, our trip to the Baltics before our semester has started here. I think you’ll love it!

Till then, take care!
