Second Exam

So, yesterday. I had yet another exam, or actually my second exam at the University of Warsaw. I’d say it went well.

Although the exam went well in the afternoon, I felt quite nervous in the morning. Last night I took a little time off to chill, but this morning I had to get back to studying. I’ve read thru all the Power Points that were sent to me, I read thru all the notes I wrote, just to make sure I got as much information as possible.

While I was studying I received an email, about an old/new adventure that I’ve turned down previously, but the company has my money, and now they only want to return 150 dollars instead of the 550 dollars I’ve given them. Which doesn’t sound to good, but I guess that’s what it is. I still want to check out their other programs to see if I could get a better deal choosing one of other their programs… Anyway what I wanted to say here is, this email really didn’t come at a perfect moment, it didn’t help with concentrating on my studies.

I read everything thru once more, by the time I’ve finished reading five minutes were left till the beginning of the exam! I sat there tight till, the exam began. This time there were only 20 questions and we had 25 minutes to complete. I finished in 24 minutes 58 seconds! Damn that was close!  The test or the program or the website said I’ve reached 80% which I consider as an amazing result, I was even happier with it than with the 64% result the day before yesterday! Seems like I’m a genius! Who knew?! Haha.

I was relieved after passing this exam, because I think it means I’ve accomplished the points of my Erasmus contract, so even if I fail tomorrow I don’t have to worry about not completing the contract. Although I think I got it right here, I still have to study the shit outta The Natural Environment of Poland! I don’t know if I’ll have any other benefits of studying hard for my last exam — except the knowledge — because I have no idea how my grades will look like when I take them home. Yeah, I suppose my last sentence wasn’t crystal clear,  but I think what I meant there was there is a difference in the Polish grading system and the Hungarian one — or there are differences I don’t know I just wanna concentrate on one of them. In Hungary if you get a 1 grade you fail, if you get 2 it means you passed the exam, but(!) in Poland if you get a 2  you still fail! The grade 3 is the pass… It’s a bit confusing, I don’t know who though it was a good idea, but it’s what it is I guess — or as the cool guys say ‘and that’s what’s up!’

After my exam I went shopping, and by shopping I meant grocery shopping of course. Yesterday I had the task to come up with something to eat. We had fried chicken in the past months, so that was not an option. I wanted something exotic, like something with ginger or turmeric. While I was in the grocery store, in the way of everybody I found a nice recipe, which required ginger and soy oil! I bought everything that was needed and started cooking as soon as I got home! And I gotta say; it turned out pretty damn good! Sari even went for a second round! — I gave her only half portion just to make sure she didn’t get full so she must’ve had to go for an extra round haha.

I hope you are doing great see you tomorrow!

Take care,

Almos
