Walkie Walkie
Yesterday was movie and long walk day. We watched The Last Action Hero. Which is one of my all time favorites! It’s just so well played, well planned. I absolutely love that movie! Even Sari said it was good! And that is something because it’s pain in the ass to find a movie she likes!
Than we went on a walk. We did it for our health plus for my ‘monthly goal.’ My watch gave me the challenge to walk 225.4 km in January. That equals to 7.27 km a day, which is totally doable if you have some places to go. I don’t. My classes are all online, the nearest shop is just across the street — and this is a small street that we are talking about. So, all of those 225.4 km will be just a joy walk — walks, it would be rad to do it all in walk.
Anyway we went on our little walk, however our neighborhood is kinda boring, we’ve walked thru it several times so we were looking for something we haven’t seen so far. And we managed to! I know we’re not living here since the genesis but I thought we know the area pretty well. Our trips main direction was East, we walked until reached the Palace of Culture And Sciences. We walked pass one of Warsaw’s most expensive hotels, the cars in the parking lot — I recon — cost more than the whole street I’m living in back in Pecs! Insanity!
When we got back to our apartment I checked and we’ve walked 8.4 km that day, which seemed like a good number to reach my goal. However I’ve asked a few of my friends who have the same watch — and I was assuming they have the same challenges, however — they have different challenges! One of the has to close the Exercise Ring two times this month, the other has something different, but still seemed like a piece of cake-er than my challenge. I’m curious if you guys have the same experience, if any of you guys have an Apple Watch could you please check your challenge and send it to me? I’m wondering what other challenges are out there, and what could be the reason for the differences. I thought everyone was having the same challenge; but if not, the race between us is not even a real race… That’s nei dobro. I was hoping for a fair race between me and my friends.
Oh, and to close the Stand Ring I had to walk up and down the stairs, I walked down 10 flights to the garage, then I walked 13 up to the top of the building, where I realized how jackasses we are… On New Year’s Eve we could’ve just walked up to the top floor and see the light-show on top of the Palace of Culture And Sciences! What an amazing experience could’ve that been! Bummer!!!
Anyway I believe that was all worth mentioning thank you for reading, I haven’t shared the day before yesterday’s blog because it got a bit politicalish, but if you want to read it here is the link. I think I wrote good thoughts I just didn’t share it because I didn’t want to argue with anyone about anything.
Take care, and have a great day!
