E. Wedel And Getting Disappointed in Humanity

 So, yesterday started like everyday — thanks God — we woke up had breakfast, Sari was studying, I cooked something to eat, yaddi yaddi yadda. The afternoon however, now that was an interesting one.

We decided we should go to the old town for the last-ish time, I wanted to walk Sari didn’t; she wanted to drink a coffee I didn’t. So instead of shouting and bickering we met halfway; we walked to a café on the way to the city. However it wasn’t just a regular café shop. It was Pijalnie Czokolady E. Wedel café! We were super excited to even be there, honestly it’s one of the greatest things in Poland! — first I wanted to write ‘we were super excited to have a hot chocolate there, but then I realized I would literally eat everything in that shop with the joyousest-joy, so it would’ve felt like I was discriminating the other yummies in there — We entered the café, the waiter and waitress were super nice and smiley, they gave us the menu, which we started examining. It must’ve taken us ages to come up with our order, because they came to our tables at least three times until we’ve worked out our order.

I had white chocolate with some alcohol made out of honey, Sari had coffee with chocolate, aaand for main dish I had some sorta strawberry chocolates mixture — damn it I can’t believe I didn’t learned its name, but I guess I was just so excited to eat it I’ve completely forgotten about it… at least we took some pictures this time! — and Sari had some chocolate hamburger, which was a hamburger shaped croissant filled with strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate, and I think that was all. Hers was great however mine was epic! I think both of mine were better than hers and better than anything I have ever had. Seriously I don’t know which words could describe how happy we were there.

The cafe was lovely, the foods were lovely, the drinks were lovely, the staff was lovely, only the guests, or some of the guests were upsetting. First when we got there, I went to use the bathroom; that time one of the toilets were full of toilet paper, which was disgusting but since the flashing system didn’t really worked I couldn’t save the situation either. Then I also went in there before we left, then the paper situation was the same, however in the 45-ish minutes we were there someone managed to shit on the side of the toilet. Who the f*ck does that and why??? Even if you did that for some reason, isn’t you first reaction to that you take a decent amount of paper in your hand and clean that shit off? You rather walk out of the bathroom, look in the eye of the dude who goes in there after you into the bathroom that you’ve destroyed?! And the best thing was while I was in there I heard some people talking outside, since I didn’t want them to go in there after me thinking I was the moron how destroyed the bathroom I stayed an waited… However I couldn’t wait that long in there I had to go out, and it was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. A young mother was waiting there with her 3-ish years old child. Shit. Quite literally actually. This whole story made me so upset, I can’t believe that there are people who can afford a fancy almost overpriced hot chocolate like that, and shits all over the toilet. That just doesn’t add up, does it?

Anyway, after we ate our yummies we took a little walk in the city, and it was pretty beautiful. We even managed to buy some socks that has some pictures of Warsaw on them.

It was a good day, however I was really disappointed with the bathroom situation…

I hope you’re doing great, till next time;

Take care,

Almos
