Further Plans(?)

 So, yesterday we started our day with administrations. Seems like that’s the new norm, since we don’t have university, but Sari has to study meanwhile I wanna give you as many angles, and as many information on my Erasmus as possible. I currently run two storylines on the blog, on is a motivational blog starring our adventures on our way to Warsaw — with a little detour to Tallinn — while I also write this ‘everyday’ blog where I tell you what I did the previous day. One blog usually takes 45-60 minutes to write, then I easily spend another hour with getting it ready to be shared, sharing it and so on. So, writing my blog, and getting it ready is how I usually spend my mornings, then if I’m not lucky I’m the one who cooks — usually I’m lucky haha.

However I’m also thinking about writing a blog about our expenses it might be interesting for someone who’s thinking about going on Erasmus, but feels like money is the boundary. I’ve been checking all our expenses for the last three days — (!) there are a lot of things to go thru — and I found quite surprising things, numbers if you like. I wasn’t exactly expecting those numbers, however the ‘t’ is not crossed till we are not home in our apartment, so you probably have to wait till then for the final results of our monthly- and six-monthly-expenses. Aand then I should probably do another blog on our monthly expenses in Hungary to put the whole thing into perspective. So, I believe that is all to come, you’ll be able to learn a lot from it, I promise. Back to our day…

After our morning routine was done, we started studying. I was helping Sari with her stuff, which was quite time consuming, and as it turned out consumed even more energy. I had to tell her the titles of the slides or topics, and she had to tell me what belongs there. While she was replying I had to check if she’s right, HOWEVER I hardly ever understood any of the slides, it was written in a much higher level English than I ever was/will be, so while she was telling me in her words — which I did understand — what were written on the slides I had to try and keep up with her in a text that I never really understood. Which ultimately meant I was bullshitting all the time. And that’s quite tiring! I probably wouldn’t be a great politician.

After we were done with a small part of our purgatory, I showed Sari a Biedronka that I’ve recently explored. We did our grocery shopping, and I’ve already started collecting souvenirs for our families and friends. The Zubr beer was discounted if you bought two six-packs you would get a better deal, which was exactly what I did. I have to keep looking for these discounts because there are a lot of beers I want my friends to try. Shit six might wouldn’t even be enough.

I closed my day with a nice run, till yesterday I was taking laps around our block, however that was getting boring, so I run to the Palace of Culture and Sciences, from there I ran to… I don’t even know where I was, I ran in the direction of the green lights when I could. I ended up running more the 10km which is a result I was quite pleased with.

So, that was our/my yesterday, I hope you also had a good one, till tomorrow;

Take care,

Almos
